ALBERT LEE ROSS
Albert Lee Ross was born to Esau Ross and Julia Williams on February 19, 1939 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He was the second oldest of seven children. After moving from Mississippi to Fort Pierce, Florida he was employed by Richard K. Davis for a number of years. He eventually moved back to Mississippi where he retired. When he returned to Fort Pierce he became ill and resided at Fort Pierce Care Center.
His loving daughter Lisa Ross became his primary caregiver. When you asked him his name, he would say things like “Say it slow so I won’t have to say it no more”. He always had a sense of humor. On Sunday morning, May 17, 2015, our “daddy” was called home to be with the Lord at 10:20 AM, the angels came to the Hospice House to Usher Albert Lee Ross home to forever be in the Glory of the Lord.
He leaves to cherish his loving (lovely) memory his mother, Julia Lee Moore of Mississippi, his daughter, Lisa Ross of Fort Pierce, 2 sons, Eric V. Ross of Atlanta, GA, and Donald Brown of Chicago, IL; 3 brothers, LeArtis Moore, LeVertis Moore and Calvin Moore all of Mississippi; 2 sisters, Easter F. Humphrey and Arlinda (Emmitt) Smith of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren, special cousins, the Holmes family, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel M. Griffin and brother, Lindell Moore.
