Carmen Rivera, 87, of Port St. Lucie, FL. passed away on October 5, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Carmen was born in Manati, Puerto Rico in 1932 and moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1995 coming from Hollywood, FL.
Carmen was a great cook and loved to cook for her beloved family and friends. She was very family oriented, loved her husband, her children and her grandchildren. Religion and her faith were very important to her. Carmen will be truly missed and loved forever by her family.
Survivors include her; sons, George L. Rivera, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL. and Hector Rivera of Staten Island, NY; grandchildren; Anthony Rivera of Port St. Lucie, FL., Christopher Rivera of Port St. Lucie, FL., Tiffany Blanco of Port St. Lucie, FL., Joseph Rivera of Brooklyn, NY., Jessalie Rivera of Staten Island, NY and Jacqueline Rivera of Staten Island, NY; great grandchildren; Noah Blanco of Port St. Lucie, FL., Maya Rivera of Port St. Lucie, FL., Joseph Rivera of Brooklyn, NY, Lilyana Rivera of Brooklyn, NY, Michael Burden of Staten Island, NY., Justin Burden of Staten Island, NY and Rihanna Burden of Staten Island, NY.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM with a Service starting at 10:00 AM.at the Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL. 34984. Burial will follow at South Florida VA National Cemetery.
