Eileen Warner, 92, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on June 10, 2021 in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Eileen, known by her friends and family as Sheila was born and raised in the village of Couva, in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. She was educated at Couva EC School and like her peers spent her days caring for livestock and tending the family garden. Sheila’s hobbies included sewing, cooking, and baking. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang at many weddings.
At age 19, she married the love of her life, Andrew Warner and together they had seven children, Linda, Curtis, Steve, Jacqueline, Margaret, Lynette, and Kathleen. In 1970, approximately, Sheila and her husband migrated to The United States, she found work as a Health Care Professional, and eventually her children would migrate to the U.S., as well.
Sheila was an exceptional cook, and was well known for her Caribbean cuisine, she would eventually use her cooking skills to open a catering business.
Sheila resided with her daughters, Margaret and Jacqueline in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2018, she permanently migrated to Port St. Lucie, and moved in with her son, Steve and his wife, Lucile until her passing.
Survivors include; daughter, Linda Gomez; son, Steve Warner, daughters, Jacqueline Warner, Margaret Warner, Lynette Clark, and Kathleen Bellille; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. She was predeceased by her parents, Ms. Smith and Mr. Dixon, stepfather, Mr. Adolphous; beloved husband Andrew Warner, and son Curtis Warner.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 10AM to 11AM with a Service to begin at 11AM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
