Joseph Pietro Comma, 77 of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly from Westminster, Maryland died, Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Loving and devoted husband of Sandra M. Baron Comma.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, a 1956 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, where he played football and was a member of the Alumni.
Mr. Comma retired from his position as a real estate broker and from Roadway Express Mountainside Transport, D.M. Bowman Transport, Woodlawn Motor Coach, and former President of Westminster Rotary. During retirement he enjoyed his family, fishing, traveling, golfing and talking with people.
He is survived by his loving family and devoted wife of 57 years, Sandra; one son, Joseph Pietro, Jr, of Westminster, two daughters, Gina Mahlstedt of Hampstead and Lori Gingher of Catonsville; seven grandchildren, Richard Holthaus, Daniel Holthaus, Louis Gingher, Adam Gingher, Lauren Gingher Williams, Joseph Comma III, and Savannah Comma; eight great grandchildren, Colt, Kash, Kiera, Ciprianna, Tyler, Kaleb, Blake, and Ava. Also survived by two sisters, Concetta (Nonnie) Klein, and Nancy Camma.
A Memorial service will be held in Maryland at a later date.
