Michael Edward Stanley, 56, formally of Wakefield & Reading MA passed peacefully on March 8, 2019 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce FL.
Michael was born in Winchester, MA on April 11, 1962 to the late Alice Mae (Amirault) Stanley/Richardson and Edward (Tony) H. Stanley. He grew up in Reading MA, attended local schools.
Michael worked at many local bakeries in Wakefield, MA. Michael was a kind soul always rooting for the underdog. He enjoyed playing in cribbage tournaments and had a real knack for chess. He was a bell ringer for Salvation Army in Fort Pierce FL, where he enjoyed his last years.
In addition to his father, Michael is survived by his loving wife Karen (Burns) Stanley. He also is survived by 3 sisters Donna Whalen and husband Michael of Salem, NH, Kimberly Richardson and fiancé Paul Gracia of Chester, NH, Christine Dresser and husband Robert of Litchfield, NH and 2 brothers Mark Stanley and his wife Valerie of Tewksbury, MA and Alan Stanley and his wife Kylee of Wakefield, MA and sister-in-law Diane Stanley-Jarmmal of Woburn, MA. Michael was predeceased by his brother Kevin Stanley. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
