Adam T. Black Lekas
August 27, 1981- October 16, 2021
Adam Thomas Black, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 16, 2021 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
Lifelong Ft. Pierce resident, Adam graduated from Lincoln Park Academy and The Florida Culinary Institute. He followed his Papou and YiaYias’s love for cooking and hospitality and worked in several restaurants in the area. Adam never met a stranger, his beautiful smile radiated sunshine to all that crossed his path. He was funny, charming, kind, and compassionate. He enjoyed antique cars, playing drums, fishing, and above all playing catch and hanging out with his son Cameron.
Adam encountered many obstacles and struggles in his short life, but he was determined to push forward and never gave up the fight.
Left to cherish Adam’s memory is his beloved son Cameron Black, parents Tom Black and Mary Lekas (Mancini), his friend and companion Erika Mage, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct 23, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2525 S 25th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
