Adelfa Pinto, 88, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on December 14, 2020 in Stuart, Florida.
Former longtime resident of Tampa, FL and currently of Fort Pierce, FL, Adelfa Pinto was born in Cuba on November 3, 1932. She along with her husband, Fernando and son, Fernando Pinto Jr left Cuba for the USA in 1966 to settle in Harrison, NJ. In 1994 Adelfa & Fernando Sr retired and moved to Tampa, FL with their son Fernando Jr. where they resided happily until the sad passing of Fernando Sr, and then a few years later, Fernando Jr.
Adelfa loved her family and we have many wonderful memories of vacations in Tampa visiting them and spending holidays together as a family. She made us amazing “Ropa Vieja” every time we visited. She enjoyed her “novelas”, weather & news tracking, crossword puzzles and talking on phone with friends and family.
Survivors include; brother, Adalberto Diaz of Cuba; sister Aleida Diaz of New Jersey; nieces, Maria Silva of Fort Pierce, Florida, Nahomy Diaz Lopez of Cuba, and Lilian Rodriguez Diaz of Florida; nephews, Jocsan Diaz of Canada, Pedro Rodriguez Diaz of Cuba, Armando Diaz Jr of New Jersey, Carlos Alberto Alvarez Diaz of Cuba, and Eduardo Rodriguez Diaz of Germany. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Fernando Pinto Sr and beloved son, Fernando Pinto Jr.
