Al Macwilliam

Charles “Al” MacWilliam, 76, died March 14, 2008 in Vero Beach, Florida.Mr. MacWilliam was born in Leominster, Massachusetts and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1986 coming from Burlington, Massachusetts.Al retired from AT&T after 30 years. He was a park and recreation commissioner in Massachusetts for 15 years and was a Charter Member of the First Congregational Church, Ft. Pierce, Florida and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.Survivors include his wife of 53 years, G. Diane MacWilliam of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, David A. MacWilliam of Lakeville, MA and Douglas W. MacWilliam of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Laurie A. Raymond of Sandown, NH; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and one nephew.Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church UCC, 3601 Kirby Loop Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church UCC.
