Mr. Confer was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and moved to Port Saint Lucie in 2015 coming from Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Confer attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Confer retired from Philip Morris Tobacco Company.
Mr. Confer is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joanna Confer, of Port Saint Lucie Florida; sons, Michael (fiancée Michelle Wright) Confer of Richmond, Virginia, and David (Summer) Confer of Ankeny, Iowa; grandsons, Charles and Henry Confer of Ankeny, Iowa; brothers, David (Susan) Confer of York, Pennsylvania and Daniel (Harriet) Confer of Greentown, Pennsylvania; and his parents Harold and Elizabeth Confer of York, Pennsylvania.
