Albert Patrick Ammirati, 78, died October 28, 2008 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Ammirati was born in New York, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1992 coming from Miami, Florida.
He was a devoted care giver to his wife, beloved father, avid softball player for many years, boat captain, teacher of special needs children, Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII and he loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lorraine Ammirati of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Rosalie Worsdale of Orlando, FL and June Ammirati of Tampa, FL; sons, Guy Ammirati of Punta Gorda, FL and David Ammirati of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, MaryAnn Napolitano of North Miami Beach, FL; brother, Philip Ammirati of City Island, NY; and 4 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 700 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Ministry Center, 2900 South Jenkins Road, Ft. Pierce, FL 34981. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
