Albert Dennis Sorrell, Jr, 76, died February 7, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Sorrell was born on April 13, 1945 in Springfield, Massachusetts and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He retired as supervisor for the St. Lucie County Tax Collector’s Office. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of White City for over 50 years. He loved serving the Lord and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband, loving dad and papa and faithful servant.
Survivors include his wife, Marge Sorrell of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Katie (Justin) Stoltz of Fort Pierce, FL and Theresa (Norman) Mabbitt of Vero Beach, FL; son, Mark (Tiffany) Sorrell of Port St. Lucie, FL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Dennis Sorrell, Sr. and Rose Fratus Sorrell.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of White City, 903 W. Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of White City.
