Alex “Pops” Morrison, 77, died September 10, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Morrison was born in Coonbottom, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1957 coming from Fargo, Georgia.
He was a supervisor for the St. Lucie County School Board and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his sons, Darryl Yates and David Yates both of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Denise Fulwood of Ft. Pierce, FL and Letha Decker of Okeechobee, FL; brother, R.J. Morrison of Phoenix, AR; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; companion, Anne Rulapaugh of Ft. Pierce, FL.

Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
