Alfonso Bellamy, Sr. 62, died August 9, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Bellamy was born in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Alfonso graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High, Class of 1980. He worked for Florida Power & Light and was the Co-Owner of Science Room DJ Baby Funk DJ’s. He was a member of the SCLC Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and he enjoyed music and sports. 

Survivors include his wife, Nikki Thomas Bellamy of Port St. Lucie, FL; siblings, Steven (Janet) Bellamy Sr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, Grady (Angela) Scott, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Golda Scott of Atlanta, GA, Patrick (Rosie) White of Port St. Lucie, FL, Elizabeth Jones of Miami Lakes, FL, Beverly Pinder, Deborah Chester of Miami, FL, Gerald ( Myra) Chester of Daytona Beach, FL and Tina Chester of Miami, FL; aunt, Ruby (Gilbert) Williams of Okc, OK; uncles, Major Bellamy of Florence, SC, Richard (Evelyn) Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC; children, Alfonso Bellamy, Jr. of Miami, FL, Anton Bellamy of Miami, FL, Sherea (Jordan) Bialek of Weston, FL, Jasmine Bellamy of Pembroke Pines, FL, Crystal Bellamy of Tamarac, FL; stepchildren, Brandy (Miljan) Jemmott of Hampton, VA, and Brian Scaife of Hampton, VA; host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Bellamy Scott, father, Grady A. Scott, Sr. 

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Spirit Life Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
