George A. “Papa G” Kerr died August 30, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, FL

Mr. Kerr was born in Newton, Massachusetts, formerly of Natick, Massachusetts, and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida and Hull, Massachusetts.

George was a pipefitter by profession and member of Pipefitters Local Union #537. He was also a long time member of Natick Lodge #1425 BPO Elks. George loved all Boston professional sports teams, his back porch in Hull, his days under the palm trees at the beach, and nights enjoying laughs with friends at Archie’s.

Survivors include his wife, Marie (Monahan) Kerr; children, Christopher (Eileen) Kerr of Holliston, Gregory (Christine) Kerr of Natick, MA, Robert (Kate) Kerr of Worcester, Katie (Corey) Clive of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Lawrence “Lonnie” (Irene) Kerr; sisters, Nancy (Cliff) Chiasson and Lorraine (Henry) Berube; 10 grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Interment took place at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, MA.
