Algimantas L. Koklys
Born February 13, 1947 in Hahn, Germany to Lithuanian parents Apolonia & Arturas Koklys. He came to the U.S. at age 3 and lived in Cleveland and Chicago before coming to Fort Pierce. He died March 8, 2014 peacefully at home after suffering with COPD & Lung Cancer. He was the youngest of six children.
He is survived by wife, June Koklys; children, Christopher, Melissa Goodrich & Robin; step-daughter, Kelly Walker; & 2 brothers and 3 sisters, grandchildren, McKenzie, Brooklyn, and Dylon & Ryan Goodrich.
He worked for the Postal Service as a rural letter carrier for 20 years and retired in 2006. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was an accomplished Pro/Am pool player with many outstanding accomplishments. He was recognized as one of the top Pro/Am billiard players in the country.
