Alice R. Dorsey

Alice R. (Schliecker) Dorsey, 92, of Ft. Pierce, passed away Monday evening, February 26, 2018, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House, Ft. Pierce.

She was born July 21, 1925, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Metzko) Schliecker. She has been a resident of Florida since 1969.

Mrs. Dorsey was a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's business.

Alice was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Walter Robert Dorsey, who passed on December 7, 2001, and is survived by five daughters, Sharon Dorsey of Ohio, Susan Sprague of Ohio, Lynn Keene of Ft. Pierce, Terri Dorsey of Ohio and Kim Tolson of Ft. Pierce; grandchildren, Kirk Sprague, Chad Sprague, Amy Keene, Kelli Keene, Eric Hood and Tim Tolson; and a great grandson, Ryan Tolson. She was predeceased by her grandson, Brian Keene and her sisters, Elaine Stuckert and Dorothy O'Brien.

Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2018 from 1:00-1:30 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Rd., Ft. Pierce, with services immediately following at 1:30 pm. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach.
