Alice L. “Enie” Bryan, 81, died July 24, 2004, at her home in Fort Pierce, FL.Mrs. Bryan was born in Lost River Township, Martin County, Indiana, and moved to Ft. Pierce in the 1970’s coming from Kendallville, Indiana.She was a Home Economic teacher, homemaker, and the manager of her late husband’s medical practice.She graduated in 1943 from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, with a B.A. in Home Economics. She was a member of the Ocean Village Tennis Team, Red Cross Blood Mobile Volunteer, member of Tri Kappa, Charter Member of “The Book Club” in Kendallville, Indiana, member of numerous bridge clubs, volunteered at Lawnwood Medical Center and McCray Memorial Hospital, and was also a Boy Scout Leader.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William B. and Barbara L. Bryan of Angola, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Robert T. and Anita Norman Bryan of Ft. Pierce; daughter, Sue A. Bryan Anderson of Stoddard, WI; brother, Warren Hendrix and wife Ruth of French Lick, IN; grandchildren, Dr. Benjamin R. Bryan of Chicago, IL, Bradley W. Bryan of Sarasota, FL, Christian Bryan-Coburn of Tampa, FL, Wendy L. Gordy of Ft. Pierce, FL, James R. Gordy II of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Wyatt L. Anderson of Stoddard, WI; great-grandchildren, Brittany M. Seidman, Darah L. Greenwald, and Ripley S. Greenwald all of Ft. Pierce, FL; she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Robert E. Bryan and brother, Kenneth Grant Hendrix.
