Mrs. Bowen lived in Fort Pierce for 17 years before moving to Vero Beach in 1976.Allie attended school in North Carolina and New York and was a model in New York for 7 years before joining the Army in 1942, serving in England and France.She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, Fl and a Eucharistic Minister.Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bowen's memory to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 7550 26th Street, Vero Beach, Fl 32966 or VNA/Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.Allie is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lynn Bowen of Vero Beach, Fl; son, Charles Bowen of Reedville, Va; brother, Homer W. Caison of Carrollton, Va; and two grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Col. Charles E. Bowen.
