Alma B. Abney, 82, died September 25, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Abney was born in Sarasota, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce 50 years ago coming from Sarasota.She was a homemaker.Survivors include her daughter, Carrie (Charles) Jewell of Ft. Pierce, FL; stepdaughter, Beverly Hogan of Norcross, GA; sister, Dorothea Cochran of Venice, FL; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Abney and son, Larry Abney.Memorial contributions may be made to the Palm Vista Church of God, 700 South 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL34947.Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 from 10-11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
