Alma C. Schmidt, age 93, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away peacefully on October 8, 2016.
She was born on September 18, 1923 in Keansburg, New Jersey. Alma was preceded by her parents, Rudolph and Alma Vogel, husband, Charles, daughter, Alma, brothers, August, Rudolph and Robert, sister, Marie and grandson, Nils.
Alma was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Alma loved needlework and reading but most of all spending time with her loved ones. She devoted her life to taking care of her family. Alma was life smart. Her wisdom and common sense were some of the many blessings that she gave us.
Our much beloved Mom and Nanny has gone to heaven on her “butterfly wings” which will always be a sign each time that we see one.
Survivors include her children, Adele Lowe, Charles Schmidt, William Schmidt, Elaine Wouters and Robin Turner; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
