Alma Serran, 105, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away peacefully June 19, 2017.
Alma, born Friday, May 3, 1912 (in Haiti), lived a full life and in many places from Haiti to Jamaica, Guyana, Canada, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Florida to name a few. Alma was a very loving and caring person who touched so many people along her journey.
Her survivors include her sister to great-grandchildren as follows: • Georgette Douge (sister); • Denise Serran (daughter-in-law); • Carmen Marcelin (step-daughter); • Ricardo Serran (grandson), wife Marcela and their children Matthew and Cordero; • Marie Lydie Serran (granddaughter) and her children Steven and Tad Serran, Vanessa Cenat, and Myriam Jean-Noel; • Marie Lydie’s grandchildren Keira, Alena and London Serran and Neveah Florestal; • Carine Serran (granddaughter) and daughter Stacy Angervil; • Marly Serran (granddaughter) and her son Mark Dormeus; • Fitzgerald Marcelin (grandson), wife Sonia Marcelin and their children, Fitzgerald Jr, Sydney and Samuel Marcelin; • Guerlene Merisme(granddaughter) and husband Yvetho Merisme and their children Zoya, Christian, Joshua and Matthew Merisme.
Alma leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who loved her just as much along the way. Alma enjoyed simple things such as family, music, food and dancing all the way to the end. There is no doubt Alma is dancing in heaven.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 11AM – 1PM, the service will start at 1PM at The Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, FL 34984.
