Alphia LaNell Tyson, 79 died September 07, 2009 in Ft Pierce, Florida
Mrs. Tyson was born in Moultrie, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1980 coming from Fayetteville, North Carolina.
She retired from Carolina Telephone & Telegraph with 30 years of service. She then worked as an office assistant for the Savannahs Condominimum Construction Phase.
She loved planning and attending family reunions and traveling.
Survivors include her daughters, Gail (Jim) Justice of Ft. Pierce, FL and Teri (Todd) Evans of Clark Range, TN ; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W.(Jim) Tyson, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 great grandchild.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will take place at White City Cemetery.
