Amanda Caroline Bowers, age 94, passed away on September 23, 2014. Mrs. Bowers was a native of Fort Green Springs, FL and came here from Hardee County in 1945.
Mrs. Bowers is survived by two daughters, Eula Mae Williams of Lake Park, GA and Susie Pohlhammer of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Jesse Bowers of Port St. Lucie, FL and Fletcher Bowers of Baltimore, MD; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Bowers; daughter, Frances Bowers-Anderson; and daughter-in-law, Ann Bowers.
