Amilcar Aguilar
Amilcar Aguilar, age 91, died August 11, 2012 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Aguilar was born in Honduras, Central America and moved to Port Saint Lucie three years ago from Brooklyn, New York. He was a boiler engineer with the Department of Sanitation in New York before retirement. He was a Yankee fanatic.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ricarda Aguilar of Port St. Lucie, son, Eddie Aguilar, daughters; Violet Ramos of Port St. Lucie, Cindy Danois of North Plainfield, NJ, Lynette Collier of Port St. Lucie, Addie Cordero, and Millie Aguilar. In addition, he is survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his son, Nelson Aguilar and daughter Denise Aguilar.
Services: Visitation will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 from 5-8 PM in the Haisley Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
