Ana J. De La Cruz

Ana J. De La Cruz, 93, recently of Port St. Lucie, FL departed to the Lord on May 20, 2023. Ana was born November 14, 1929 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic to Manuel Gonzalez and Josefina Crisostomo. She married Luis A. De La Cruz on June 2, 1951.

Ana loved to read, especially the Bible. She was consistently spending time in studying her Bible. She was an amazing mother and loved her family dearly. Ana loved cooking for her family and spending time in her garden. She was an excellent seamstress, as well.

She will be incredibly missed by her children: Jose Luis (Dawn) De La Cruz of Waterford, CT; Fernando A. (Miriam) De La Cruz of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; her devoted caregiver, Astrid J. De La Cruz of Port St. Lucie, FL; Felix M. De La Cruz of Highstown, NJ; Carmen Luisa De La Cruz of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, stepdaughter Fausta De La Cruz of Queens, NY; and daughter-in-law, Miriam of Fernandina Beach, FL.  Ana also leaves to mourn her passing, her siblings Carmen, Maria Elena, Fausto, Melania, and Iris. She will be missed by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be met in heaven by her beloved husband Luis and son Augusto, as well as many brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held by the family Friday, May 26, 2023 at 10AM at White City Cemetery in Ft. Pierce, FL.
