Andrew J. Schaffer

Andrew Schaffer, 22, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on November 22, 2021 in Palm City, Florida.

Andrew was born July 20, 1999 in Richmond, VA to Cary Schaffer and Daphne McIlvoy. He attended Fort Pierce Central High School. After high school he worked at Palm City Millworks.

Andrew loved hunting, fishing, bonfires, target practice, and riding dirt bikes. He also enjoyed the freedom of being on a motorcycle. If he had to be inside, he enjoyed playing video games with friends. Country music was the soundtrack to his life.

Survivors include mother and stepfather, Daphne and Dennis Petersen of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Leighton Petersen and Erin Schaffer, also of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Cary Schaffer of Seattle, WA; maternal grandmother, Sue McIlvoy of Fort Pierce, FL; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Rori Schaffer of Port St. Lucie, FL. He was preceded by paternal grandfather, Donnie McIlvoy and brother, Charlie Petersen.

A Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10AM – 11AM with a Memorial Service to start at 11AM at Haisley Funeral Chapel 3015 Okeechobee Road Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
