Angel Luis Gonzalez Sr, 82, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of October 27th, 2023.

Angel “Louie” Luis Gonzalez was born October 18th, 1941 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Gonzalez and Leocadia Gonzalez (Quiñones). Louie came to the states with his family in 1949, and settled in the Bronx, New York. It was here in the Bronx where Louie met his beloved wife of 64 years, Carmen Marina Gonzalez (Rivera) who survives him. They were married November 29th, 1959. Together they raised 4 children and enjoyed many family adventures including, road trips, amusement parks, house parties, beach visits and many more. Louie was a master plumber who spent 40 years in the trade, with a vast knowledge beyond most in the profession. He enjoyed fishing, skiing, hunting, salsa music, and most of all spending time with his large family.

Louie is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marina, five children, Angel Luis Gonzalez JR (Tanya), Juanita Blanco (Herbert), Carmen Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez (Desiree), Elizabeth Reyes (Simon), 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and 6 siblings.

Louie loved his family with all of his heart and moved mountains for them. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have known him, loved and admired him. He will be deeply missed by all.

Services:  Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center,  Port St. Lucie, FL.
