ANGELA SUE "ANGIE" DENTON
Angela Sue "Angie" Denton, 33, of Fort Pierce died Wednesday, April 1 in Paris, Tennessee.
Originally born in Clarksville, Tennessee to Raymond and Peggy Sue Denton, she was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce.
She attended Orange Avenue Baptist School where she graduated valedictorian of her high school class. While in high school she worked at Skate Town USA. She also attended Indian River State College where she received both an Associate in Arts degree and an Associate in Science Degree. She was a registered nurse working at the St. Lucie County Jail, the St. Lucie County Regional Juvenile Detention Center and the Laurel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Pierce. She also taught preschool at the Community United Methodist Daycare, high school at Orange Avenue Baptist School and enjoyed tutoring students and babysitting children. She was a dedicated member of Orange Avenue Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord volunteering for special events and dinners, Vacation Bible School, children’s nursery and facility maintenance.
She is survived by: a sister, Cathy (John) Perry of Clarksville, TN; a brother, Jeff (Loretta) Thomason of Ft. Pierce; grandparents Elroy and Virginia Davis of Buchanan, TN; several aunts and uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held April 25 from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at Haisley Funeral Home. A time of fellowship will follow at noon at the Orange Avenue Baptist Church, 100 Cyclone Drive, Fort Pierce. Arrangements are complements of Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service.
