Mrs. Hurst-Bashaw was born in Jenkins, Kentucky and was a resident of Fort Pierce.
She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and an avid baker.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Tom Bashaw of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Donna (Henry) Sapp of Port St. Lucie, FL and Leeanna (Craig Johnson) Lowe of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Shelby (Winford) Slone of Fort Pierce, FL; 3 grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Sapp, Justin Sapp, and Amanda Lowe; 2 great-grandchildren, Annabella Sapp and Chloe Sapp.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
