Anna Mae Reimert

ANNA MAE REIMERT, 86, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formally of Emmaus, PA passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Claire (Toolan) Clauser and sister to her late brother Ernest Clauser. Anna Mae graduated from Allentown High School, class of 1953 and served on her class reunion as co-chairwoman. She attended Penn State University and graduated from Linden Hall Jr. College in Lititz, PA. She was a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA and was a past reader and Sunday school teacher in the Allentown, PA branch church. She worked at Macy’s for 18 years and retired in 2001. She was a PIAA swimming official, enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid reader. Anna Mae is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Merritt Reimert; four daughters, Laurie Reimert Russell, wife of John Russell, Concord, CA, Holly Reimert Thomas, Bethlehem, PA, Kelly Reimert DiMarco, wife of Thomas DiMarco, Nazareth, PA and Julie Reimert Dobrick, Jeanette, PA. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Valley YMCA or The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, MA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 10:30-11:00 AM with a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
