Mrs. Mershon was born in Portsmouth, Ohio and moved to Port St. Lucie five years ago coming from South Point, Ohio.She worked for Martin County School System for three years.She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Ft. Pierce.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, G. Kent Mershon of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Tracey Casey of Batavia, OH, Kathy Hendricks of Port St. Lucie, FL, Gina Oates of Greensboro, NC, and Amy Mershon of Louisville, KY; brothers, Oscar Morrison of Columbus, OH, Ernest Morrison of Wheelersburg, OH, Hubert Morrison of Columbus, OH, and Danny Morrison of Columbus, OH; sisters, Tonya Beloat of Columbus, OH, Shirley Senft of Columbus, OH, and Marty Whiehle of Minford, OH; seven grandchildren; and she was preceded in death by her parents.
