Annie Beatrice Storey, 89, died June 24, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

She was a member of the Midway Road Church of Christ.

Mrs. Storey was born in Fort Drum, Florida and came to Ft. Pierce as a child. She loved to sew and one of her many expressions of love was to sew each new grandchild a finger stitched blanket, even when 10 great-grandchildren were born in one year. One of her many talents was her hand-rolled biscuits, making guava jelly, and canning tomatoes. She was known for making a meal from “Little of nothing” for family and friends.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, C.W. & Linda Storey of Caryville, FL, Gene & Bonnie Storey of Ft. Pierce, FL, Joe & Kaye Storey of Ocala, FL, Frank & Patsy Storey of Vernon, FL, and Kit & Sherri Storey of Madison, FL; daughters & sons-in-law, Blanche & Sam Gentile of Orlando, FL, Faye & Robert Hawley of Ft. Pierce, FL, Elizabeth Dale & Rick French of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Sheila Shipley & Steve Jowers of Orlando, FL; brother, Leslie J. Webb and wife, Nora of Ft. Pierce, FL; 35 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and many friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Storey, brothers, Jessie Boatwright and Henry Rogers, sister, Grace Rogers, and one great-granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 5-8 PM at the Midway Road Church of Christ, Ft. Pierce. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Drum Cemetery in Fort Drum, Florida.
