ANTHONY P. CARUSO
Anthony P. Caruso, 78, died May 29, 2012 in Tampa, Florida.
Anthony was born in Ashtabula, Ohio and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1984, coming from Ashtabula, Ohio.
He was the owner of a construction company, a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, member of Elk’s Lodge 1520, Ft. Pierce, a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Port St. Lucie Council 7914, a 4th degree member of the Fort Pierce Knights of Columbus Council, a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Charities. He also enjoyed hunting and antique cars.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Caruso of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Michael (Sherry) of Burlington, VT, Martin (Linda) of Conneaut, OH, Rick of Colorado Springs, CO, Patrick (Kathleen) of Fort Pierce, FL and Tony, Jr. ( Dawn) of Palm City, FL; daughters, Robin (Michael) Stroup of Geneva, OH and Mary Margaret (Anthony) Crispino of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Christina Beaver of Ashtabula, OH; brother, Thomas Caruso of Ashtabula, OH; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by three children, Gerald, Carmel and Jerry.
Memorial contributions made be made in Anthony’s memory to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Charities, 219 N. US Hwy 1, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 3rd, 4:00 to 6:00 followed by a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of will be celebrated on Monday, June 4th at 1:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Waynesville, Ohio. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
