ANTHONY JOHN MESAGNO
Anthony John Mesagno, 83, died October 28, 2011 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Anthony was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1994, coming from Long Island, New York.
He was a mechanical engineer for the New York City Transit Authority, a member of the American Legion Post 40, member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Mesagno of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Stephen Mesagno of Jupiter, FL and David Mesagno of Rohnert Park, CA; daughter, Diane Mesagno of Fort Pierce; brother, Jack Mesagno of Fort Pierce; sister, Virginia LaFrieda of Queens, NY and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Anthony’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, P. O. Box 22594, West Palm Beach, FL.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd from 5 to 8:00 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service at 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
