Anthony W. Sommer, age 48, died in Fort Pierce, FL on December 13, 2008. He was born in New York and moved to Fort Pierce two years ago.
He was a life guard at Ocean Village. He loved his dog, Finch, the theater, woodworking, the beach, music and taking bike rides.
He is survived by his father, George Sommer, of Tryon, NC; brothers, George Sommer of Perry, GA, Timothy Sommer of Wyndotte, MI; nephews, Benjamin Sommer of Vero Beach, FL, Jeff Sommer of Perry, GA, and Sean and Chris Sommer, both of Wyndotte, MI. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, his sister, Tamzen Sommer and niece, Tara Sommer.
There will be a memorial service at Haisley Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
