Antonio Duarte Sr.

Antonio B. Duarte, Sr. “Toi” was born in Providence Rhode Island and moved to Boston, Massachusetts, and lived the rest of his of days in Fort Pierce, FL. Antonio B. Duarte, Sr. (Toi) 81, of Fort Pierce, FL formerly of Massachusetts, born in Rhode Island departed life at IRMH (Florida), on December 9, 2013. Son of late Bartholomew and late Almerinda Duarte, beloved husband of Elizabeth Anne Duarte; father of Antonio, Jr., Ricardo, Dante, Antonio III, James, Michael, Carla, Tanya, Lisa, Elaine, Wanda, and late Carol-Anne, a host of grandchildren and loved ones. Brother of Francesca, Bartholomew, Jr., the late James, Manuel, and John Duarte.

Toi was employed at Steer Textile Mill in Rhode Island at the age of 16 and worked his way to up to company youngest manager. He honorably served in the United States Army and is a Korean War Veteran. Later was Master Mechanic, Service Manager, and Licensed Insurance Apprasier at Libon Volkswagons in Boston for 25 yrs; employed at MMHC as a State Transporter, State Campus Policeman, retired from position of Director of Environmental Services.
