Ardell L. Herndon, 82, passed away on July 2, 2017 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Herndon was born in Robertsdale, Alabama and resided in Port St. Lucie for the last 41 years coming from Winter Haven, Florida.
She enjoyed playing slot machines, loved Facebook, playing card games and traveling.
Survivors include her son, Terry Herndon of Gainesville, FL; daughter, Debbie (Bret) Scutari of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Aubery Vaughn; sister, Joyce Carter; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Herndon, sons, Richard, Jerry Lee and Larry Herndon, brother, William Vaughn and granddaughter, Michelle Herndon.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be conducted on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
