Arlene Grabiak
Arlene Grabiak, 88, died August 13, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Grabiak was born in North Braddock, Pennsylvania and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1959 coming from Fort Rucker, Alabama. She permanently moved to Fort Pierce in 2004.
Arlene was a member of the Pelican Yacht Club and Pelican Yacht Club Auxiliary, Fort Pierce Yacht Club, and St. Anastasia Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, and playing bridge.
Survivors include her son, Paul K. (Laurie) Grabiak of Palmetto, FL; daughters, Laura G. (Michael) Simmons of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Brenda G. (Ray) Mitchum of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Denise G. (Brett) Mehring of Mt. Juliet, TN and Karen G. (Huey) Blackman of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Steve Kavulic of Jeannette, PA; grandchildren, Jason (Marisa) Grabiak, Kelsey Grabiak, Daniel (Shannan) Simmons, Aaron Simmons, Michael (Allison) Simmons, Stephen Simmons, Marguerite (Mike) Welch, Lorrin (David) Mitchum, Adam (Priscilla) Mitchum, Brittany (Casey) Cox, Ashley (Justin) Schoeff, Hunter (Sherry) Mehring, Joshua Mehring, Trey (Chelsea) Blackman, Ted (Jenna) Blackman, Tanner (Elizabeth) Blackman, Tate (Ashley) Blackman; godson, LaMarcus (Takira) Joyner; and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Theodore P. Grabiak and brother, Mike (Lisa) Kavulic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:30-8:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Entombment will be held at Riverview Memorial Park.
