Arline D. Femmel, 92, died November 24, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Femmel was born in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Fort Pierce.

As a young woman, she was a secretary for the New York Port Authority and worked in the Foundling Hospital. During her family years she worked in department stores, and did some volunteer work in hospitals. Mostly she was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who enjoyed painting, singing, reading, writing, and The Arts.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Messineo of Spencer, WV and Thea Femmel of Vero Beach, FL; son, Paul C. Femmel of Danbury, CT; grandchildren, Christopher, Rachel, Jason, Ethan and Arline, and great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Katya, and Kira. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul J. Femmel; brother, William (Billy) Mulder, sister, Marian Nossan and grandson, Patrick Warner.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL
