Arthur Edward Miller, 79, died August 22, 2009, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Arthur was born in Torrington, Connecticut, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1997, coming from Torrington, CT.
He was a security guard for the Torrington Co. Bearing Division in Torrington, CT, served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Marine Corps League.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria Miller of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Susan Milette of Fort Pierce, FL and Debra Miller of New York City, NY; sons, Bill Miller of Vero Beach, FL and Michael Miller of Grand Rapids, Michigan; sister, Carol Miller Beaudoin of Pleasant Valley, CT and 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brothers, James Miller and Bill Miller.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Miller to the Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 S. E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
There will be a Private Service on Wednesday, August 26th at 3:00 PM in the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel.
