Arthur Frederick Sanders of Fort Pierce, Florida passed from this earthly life into the presence of God on February 8, 2012. He was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1927 to Royden Coe and Fannie Mae Sanders. He was predeceased by his brother, Royden, Jr. and his sister, Florence.
He attended Drexel College and then entered the U.S. Army, where he served in Italy during World War II. He was a business entrepreneur, beginning with Artco Stationery and Business Machines in Burlington, N.J. Later, after relocating to Florida, he worked for Seimens and Rohm Corporations, before establishing Communication Providers, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale. He retired in 2004 and moved to St. Lucie Village, by the river, in Fort Pierce.
He was always actively involved in his church, serving as teacher, youth director, deacon, choir member, Bible Study Leader and Ruling Elder.
He will always be remembered for his unconditional love, willingness to help, unwavering patience, sharp mind and quick wit. He was an amazing example of our heavenly Father.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; as well as four children, Linda Morrell (Richard), Royden Sanders, George Sanders (Terry) and Glen Sanders (Phaedra); three stepchildren, George Vanderslice (Katie), Boyd Vanderslice (Maritza) and Kelli Kraaz and the most loving extended family members, especially Bob and Shirley Lewis.

Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will take place at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 1:15 PM.
