Arthur “Buddy” Rodgers
Buddy, 67, died August 2, 2013 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Rodgers was born in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Son of the late Lewis and Amelia Ray Rodgers. He worked in construction as a home builder. He was a life time resident to Fort Piece and neighbor of Haisley Funeral Home. He graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1965 and joined the United States Army. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was part of the Fort Pierce Shriners and the Amara Clown Unit. He helped build Haisley Funeral Home, along with other local establishments throughout Fort Pierce.
Survivors include his wife, of 47 years, Kay Rodgers; son, Twain (Gay) Rod Rodgers of Vero Beach, Florida; daughter, Wesla Rodgers of Fort Pierce, Florida; sister Jimmie (Ronald) Lott of Blackville, South Carolina and 5 grandchildren.
