Arty I Harmon passed on June 19, 2004 from this life, after her two year battle with lung cancer, to enter God’s Kingdom and begin a new life on Saturday, June 19, 2004. She was greeted at heaven’s gates by her husband, James W. Harmon, and her parents, Thomas and Rose Ivone.
Mrs. Harmon was born in Madison, Ohio and was a resident of St. Lucie County for 42 years. She was of the Catholic faith and lived on this earth for 74 years.She leaves behind her children and grandchildren, Sharon Ivone and Meghan Rose Jameson of Port St. Lucie, Eric, Juliet, and Savannah Harmon of Auckland, New Zealand, Chris, Leslie, Jesse, and Joel Pallon of Ft. Pierce.
Additional survivors are her siblings, Edward Ivone of Vero Beach, Evelyn Schuster of Ohio, Raymond and Mary Ivone of Sebastian, Thomas and Jean Ivone of Tequesta.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1401 21st Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, or to the Hospice of their choice.In lieu of flowers, her children and grandchildren would appreciate your prayers for a peaceful transition as she begins a long and wonderful journey on her way to be with God.
