Maxine Barker 87 died on October 16, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Maxine was born in Bowling Green, Florida and lived in Wauchula, Florida before moving to Fort Pierce at a young age.
She was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church where she taught children’s and adult Sunday school classes.
She held various jobs, the last being a seamstress. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and everyone else’s children too. She was everyone’s Nanny.
Survivors include her son Stan Barker (Karen), daughters Anna Brolmann (Marty), Pam Fowler (Gary) all of Fort Pierce. Son-in-law Bob Yetter. Grandchildren Billy Yetter (Jeneen), Jolie Barker, Becky Yetter, Terri Yetter, Daniel Brolmann, Allison Wolfe (Warren), Jessica Findlay (Ryan), Bradley Barker, Brandon Barker (Lourdes), Brittany Barker, Damon Barker, and Catlin Barker. 17 Great Grandchildren. 7 great great children.
She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years Luther Barker. Her daughters Martha Yetter and Doris Barker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
