Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Hurley of Northport, NY, Audrey Koehler of Linden Hurst, NY, and Christine Backer of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Randy Backer of New York, Raymond Backer of California, Thomas Backer of Smithtown, NY, David Backer of Valley Stream, NY and John Backer of Texas; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Edward Backer and daughter, Barbara Arliss.
Services: Services will be held in Levittown, New York under the direction of Dalton Funeral Home.
