Augustus Sperrazza, 91, died December 3, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Sperrazza was born in New York City and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1983 coming from Brooklyn, New York.
Prior to retirement, he worked for the Department of Defense for 20 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII and a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Sperrazza of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Michael Sperrazza of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Mary Sperrazza of Brooklyn, NY, Janet Mantovani of Long Island, NY, Laura Cunningham of Brooklyn, NY and Linda Palombo of Staten Island, NY; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Sperrazza.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
