Austin Lee Brogan, age 77, formerly of Fort Pierce, died on July 3, 2010 in Knoxville, TN. He was born in Charleston, WV. He lived in Fort Pierce from 1960 – 2010.
He was a sheet metal worker in the construction industry, and a member of Sheet Metal Union Local #32, and attended Sunrise Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Brogan of Athens, TN, his daughters, Connie McIver of Port St. Lucie and Gina Bassett of Fort Pierce, his sons, Jeff Brogan of Port St. Lucie and Greg Brogan of Athens, TN, sisters, JoAnne Ostendorf of Lebanon, TN, Sally Walker of Charleston, WV, Patricia Walker of Charleston, WV and Florence Albert of Jenson Beach, FL, his brother, William Brogan of NY, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Brogan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Friends may call on Friday, July 9th at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, from 10-11 AM, the Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11AM, with Rev. Tony Carson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
