Baldomera “Mera” Ruiz, 97, died September 21, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Ruiz was born in Puerto Rico and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mera was a homemaker and mother of 13 children. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and praying for the ill or anyone that needed help. Baldomera was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many. Her smile and prayers will truly be missed. She has gained her wings.

Survivors include her children, Jose Ruiz of Fort Pierce, FL, Maria Ponce of Aspers, PA, Brunilda Meadows of Fort Pierce, FL, Mary Velasquez of Fort Pierce, FL, Anna Ruiz-Sisco of Fort Pierce, FL, Carmen Ruiz-Arbelo of Fort Pierce, FL, and David Ruiz of Fort Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fabian Ruiz, sons, Pastor F. Ruiz, Alberto Ruiz, and Monserrate Ruiz and daughter, Felicita Galan.

Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 9:00-10:30 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. A reception will follow for friends and family at 162 U Vista Court, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
