Barbara Cone Corbett, 82, died on December 14, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Barbara, affectionately known as Barb, was born on November 18, 1939 in Rosenberg, Texas to parents Cornelius Ridpath Cone and Alice Martha Davis. She was a graduate of Ft. Lauderdale High School in 1957 and went on to work as a cashier in a grocery store. Barb was always grateful for her customers who became like work friends to her, and she was proud to say that her line was always the longest. She greatly enjoyed line dancing and baking and was known to be an amazing cook. Most of all, Barbara loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and was always loving and caring to all.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Warren S. Corbett; sisters, Shirley Protz and Sidney Jane Goforth; and brother, Cleddie W. (Tex) Cone. She is survived by her sons, Warren Selwin (Sonja) Corbett and Richard William (Casey) Corbett, both of Fort Pierce, Florida, Sean Wallace (Georgette) Corbett of Springhill, Florida, Gregg Scott (Kim) Corbett of Jacksonville, Florida, and Brett Davis Corbett of Fort Pierce, Florida, as well as 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Services: There will be a visitation on December 19, 2021 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Haisley Funeral Home at 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, Florida with a 2 PM service to follow. An 11 AM burial will take place on December 20, 2021 at the City of Pompano Beach Cemetery at 400 SE 23rd Avenue, Pompano Beach, Florida.
