Barbara A. Grinnell, 80, died January 21, 2018 in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Barbara was born in Marston, Missouri and moved to Fort Pierce in 1963 coming from Minneola, Florida.
She retired from the USPS and was a member of the Indian River Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, arcades, wildlife and being outside and especially being with her grandkids.
Survivors include her son, David Huggins of Jupiter, FL; daughter, Debbie Johnston of Jensen Beach, FL; step-daughter, Debra Compton of Cibolo, TX; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Allen and Ann Holmes; brother, Wilburn Ashmore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Community Care, 800 Northpoint Parkway, Suite 101-B, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 12-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Entombment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
